SPCC Compliance
We provide myriad commercial / retail / oil clients with leading-edge assistance in complying with the SPCC Rule (40CFR112). In addition to preparing SPCC Plans, we have been inspecting ASTs since 2003 (via SP001 protocol). We also provide an 8-hour SPCC Training Workshop for SPCC-regulated clients and their oil-handling staff, which allows them to stay in compliance with 40CFR112.7(f).
Forensic Analysis
Phase 1 ESAs
We thoroughly research background and historical information to determine previous site usage, provide an overview of local soils, geology, and hydrogeology and provide a current assessment of operational conditions. Evaluations are made by reviewing available public records, interviewing appropriate parties and then performing a detailed site reconnaissance to identify any existing or potential environmental liabilities that exist at, or adjacent to, the subject property. We provide comprehensive due diligence Phase 1 ESAs, as per ASTM Standard E 1527-13, at reasonable Lump-Sum costs.
Phase 2 ESAs
Phase 2 environmental site assessments include subsurface investigations, as well as soil and groundwater analyses, to determine if hazardous materials have adversely impacted the site environment. The Phase 2 report includes data interpretation and a summary evaluation, as well as recommendations for remedial actions, if any.

Geophysical Surveys
Our surveys are designed and performed by senior geophysicists having excellent academic training and professional experience (please visit the ECA Geophysics website). Through affiliations with the Colorado School of Mines and the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS), we access a “brain trust” of outstanding geophysicists, whenever additional brainstorming becomes necessary.
We eliminate costly and cumbersome manual grids, by utilizing DGPS guided surveys that are based upon geodetic coordinate systems such as the State Plane, WGS 84 or UTM. All of our georeferenced data can be seamlessly incorporated into your GIS and AutoCAD databases.
